GOD CAN

The old nursery rhyme says Humpty-Dumpty sat on a wall.
Humpty-Dumpty had a great fall.
All the king's horses and all the king's men
Couldn't put Humpty-Dumpty together again.

But God could!
He's God and He is good!
He is God and He is grand!
What man can't do, God can!

Adam and Eve in the garden that day
Had a great fall, to sin gave way.
And nothing they could do, nothing they could say
Could give them back what they lost that day.

But God could!
He's God and He is good!
He is God and He is grand!
What man can't do, God can!

God clothed Adam and Eve in the garden you see.
A picture of the day Christ would come and shed His blood on Calvary.
Man could never save himself, that we need to know.
No matter what he does, no matter where he goes.

But God can!
He's God and He is good!
He is God and He is grand!
What man can't do, God can!

If you've never received Jesus, you are lost today.
Please repent of your sins and turn to Jesus, He'll take your sins away.
You can know your sins are forgiven, what joy my friend.
You can know Heaven will be your home one day, life will never end.

That's what God can do
And He'll do it for you!
He is God and he is grand!
What man can't do, God can!

AIN'T GONNA GIVE UP (A Spiritual)

Ain't gonna give up.

Ain't gonna sit down.

Aint' gonna fall out.

Ain't gonna turn around.

Times can get hard.

They sure do sometimes.

And the old devil he will

Try and play with your mind.

He'll tell you more lies,

Try and make you give in.

He'll even tell you

A Christian can't win.

But I ain't gonna give up.

Ain't gonna sit down.

Ain't gonna fall out.

Ain't gonna turn around.

The old devil is a liar.

Don't care what he has to say.

I know that I'm a winner

And Jesus walks with me each day.

Now, it may get bad

In this world, its true.

But my home is yonder

Somewhere beyond the blue.

And I ain't gonna give up.

Ain't gonna sit down.

Ain't gonna fall out.

Ain't gonna turn around.

Things may shake some.

That I surely know.

But Jesus is always right here

With me wherever I go.

So I'll just hold on.

I ain't gonna turn around.

I'm on the Solid Rock

And I know the Rock is sound.

Ain't gonna give up.

Ain't gonna sit down.

Ain't gonna fall out.

Ain't gonna turn around.
